Not Ready For Prime Time?

Unfortunately, there have not been any fresh, credible rumors about the launch of Amazon’s video service on Apple TV since the Oct. 26 one turned out to be nothing. The good news, however, is that Amazon promised to launch the app “this year” and there is only so much “this year” left. Unless something has gone horribly wrong, expect Amazon Video on Apple TV in the next month and a half.

I've been wondering why there is a severe lack of news regarding the Amazon Prime Video app for the Apple TV. My Apple TV is my TV since I cut the cord six years ago. Adding Amazon Prime to it would be a great addition, but I've made it this long without it.

I'm interested in getting access to the service, but I cannot name a must-see show on the service. With slightly more than a month left in the year, it will be interesting to see if the app finally makes an appearance.

I started my journalism career in college as an entertainment writer and eventually moved into the Sports Editor position. After graduation I worked as a Stringer for the Wilmington Star-News and covered Track & Field and Lacorsse. After eight months I was hired as a General Assignment Reporter for the Topsail Voice. In 2006, I was hired by Student Sports as a general assignment writer and moved into the role of Editor for MDVarsity.com. Purchased by ESPN in July 2008, Student Sports relaunched as ESPNRISE.com and I was promoted to the Contact Sports Editor in charge of football and lacrosse. In 2009, I took over lacrosse full-time. I am currently the Founder and COO of LaxRecords.com and the Mid-Atlantic reporter for US Lacrosse and where I manage the Nike/US Lacrosse Top 25 voting panel and a staff of four freelance journalists.
